Q: Why would I need such a PCR workshop?

A: It’s unique chance to work with the people that designed and validated the QuickBlue PCR kits. They work on a daily basis with the QuickBlue PCR kits and give you tips to improve your work and work more efficient. Also for a better general overview it’s handy to do such workshops.

 

Q: I’m very experienced with the PCR, is it also handy for me to sign-up for a PCR workshop?

A: It’s always handy to share experiences with other experienced PCR lab technicians and you will almost always learn new ways. So yes, also for very experienced lab technicians it’s always handy to do such a workshop.

 

Q: What is the minimum number to sign-up for a workshop?

A: If we provide an announced workshop candidates can sign-up single. If you want a workshop for only your company there needs to be at least 3 persons signed-up with a maximum of 10.

 

Q: How long does a workshop take place?

A: That depends on the request. Our shortest workshop is on the first day from 09:00 till 17:00 and the second day from 08:30 till 14:00. But we also provide workshops for a full week. So it depends on what you prefer.

 

Q: Can I also work with the QuickBlue kits during the workshop?

A: Yes, in all our workshops all candidates can do almost all the steps themselves. From putting a sample in the correct medium, extract the DNA until putting the DNA on the plate just before it goes into the PCR.
